Routine ear hygiene, made simple.

Malazinc™ Ear drops are designed for routine ear hygiene to assist with the cleansing of the ear canal, particularly in situations where ear hygiene concerns are commonly encountered. The micronutrient-based formulation combines carefully selected ingredients in a non-greasy solution suitable for regular use across a wide range of species.

The formulation contains boric acid, taurine, L-lysine and zinc — ingredients commonly used in topical ear hygiene products intended for use in ears requiring regular hygiene support. Malazinc™ Ear drops are formulated at a pH of 4.5. The non-oily consistency spreads easily with gentle massage, and excess product may be removed with cotton wool.

Malazinc™ Ear drops do not contain antibiotics or steroids.

Suitable for all species, including rabbits.

Presented in an easy to use squeezable dropper bottle that helps to dispense accurate amounts direct to the inner and middle ear surface or ear canal. The viscosity is such that the animal’s natural head movement will distribute the solution uniformly to all surfaces following gentle massage of the ear canal after application. Excess fluid can be removed using absorbent swabs.

Should be stored at room temperature and has a shelf life of 4 years from date Of manufacture.

"I have used MalaZinc ear drops for many patients, mostly for dogs but on cats as well. I have had great success in using it for both otitis externa and media ( middle ear) assessed using the PSPP system ( Primary, Secondary, Predisposing and Perpetuating causes) with allergy as the primary cause and Malassezia as the secondary cause. The product can be sold over the counter and I can add steroids and / or antibiotics to the bottle if required.

I do not have to clean the ears prior to use. Having used the product for some time, I see results often by the next visit and certainly within 2 to 4 weeks of use. I also use it frequently for patients that have experienced a recurrence of signs, successfully. Initial treatment is once to twice daily, reducing down, perhaps to as little as weekly, to maintain and prevent recurrence of signs.

I would definitely use this product again and would recommend it to all veterinarians."
